Welcome to Dial M for Murloc! (we are not an RP, Erp or Twink guild. Thanks)
DMfM is a casual raiding, social playing and levelling guild. We do not have level restrictions or require anyone to raid of they do not wish. We DO require those who intend to raid to properly prepare and meet some guidelines to make the raiding process more enjoyable for all.
Please note: DMfM operates on an RP server. Such servers have stricter rules for character naming and conduct in the world. While a member of StM please represent yourself to the community with manners that reflect well on your guild.

We are a friendly, supportive, social guild that wants to foster some good teamwork and see members out running quests, dungeons, dailies, and battlegrounds and while we do raid, it is not our sole purpose nor are we a heavy raid guild. We try to offer a little bit of everything, and Role Play is welcomed by some but not enforced. We do not RP in instances. We want a strong, friendly team that likes to play together no matter what the game of the day is, and with that in mind, since we are a membership and not just an open guild, we are laying out some simple rules for our membership to follow. As always, if you have any questions at all, contact an officer.
Basically the main rule is, please don't be a douchebag.
Treat your guildies decent.
Be patient and kind.
Be respectful.
Represent the guild in a good manner in the game community.
Please refrain from acting like an idiot in trade or /yelling stupid things. Thanks.

We are a casual raid guild but we bring our A-game when we raid. Do the same.

P.S. We are not a twink guild. Please, no begging for gold in guild chat or trade-channel style selling.
New Members & Promotions:
New members begin as Streamrunner. There is a 5 day probation period during which you cannot access our bank, request items or access member only areas of the website. During this time you must register AND verify at least your main toon here on our forum. Once this is done AND at least 5 days have passed you will be promoted to Tiderunner and be able to access the first tab of the bank.
Guild Bank Usage:
The bank is there for the guild. Please feel free to take items if they can be of use , but you may not use our bank to give items to friends or non-guild members. You may also not give items to probationary members. We ask everyone to donate what they are able to. Items are subject to removal for auctioning or vending at the discreton of the banker. We do not pay for guild member mounts at this time, nor do we loan money from the bank at this time. This is subject to change at our discretion.
Member Support: We assist guild members as best we can but expect YOU to do your part in levelling and questing your own character. We do not run through dungeons or quests for xp and gear grinds.
Runs & Quests: IF you cannot find a group for a dungeon and wish to ask a guild member for help: You must have as many of the quests as you can before you ask. wowhead.com is one place you can research. Runs are worth everyone's time if you can get as many quests done in one shot but grouping at level is the best way to learn how to play.
Guild Chat & vent Language:
We just ask everyone to be reasonable and respectful in their language usage. Things tend to get a little wild late at night but overall we aim to keep guild chat and vent as PG-PG13 as possible. Please do not be offended if someone asks you to watch your mouth
Conflicts: Tempers sometimes flare, but there will be no arguing openly in guild chat or name calling and nastiness. Fun debates and disagreements are fine, everyone enjoys a lively debate, but if it gets our of hand an officer or senior officer can, and will step in. Please do not take offense if an officer or Oracle asks you to drop a subject or watch your language. We would like to keep as kind and profanity free guild chat as we can, particularly during the peak hours when we have a large mix of people on. Please choose your 'insults in fun' carefully as it can be hard to gague the gist of something through text. Anyone who does not drop an issue in guild chat will be demoted to lurker for a cooling off period. If any other issues arise and you need mediation, please contact a Guardian or Oracle for assistance.

Guild Loot Rules:
Need before greed, generally. Trash green drops may be greeded on, please DO NOT NEED ROLL on items you do not need. Groups can agree how they wish to handle unwanted boss drops. Generally we pass so that someone who needs can obtain the item. If there is a disenchanter in the party or two, they may roll green against one another for de rights. Parties may also agree to roll greed if there is no DE and if anyone needs for an upgrade they roll NEED. All raids use a master looter system
